Resumen
This work describes the synthesis, characterization and application of
complexes containing metals of transition. The synthesis of ligands (Bases of Schiff)
was carried out from pyridoxal hydrochloride, salicylic aldehyde, dihydrazides and
primary amines with aliphatic or aromatic chains, and metallic salts of chloride,
perchlorate and acetylacetonate for the synthesis of complexes.
The synthesized compounds were 1-[Mn2(L1)2](ClO4)2(Cl)2(H2O)2; 2-
Ni2(L1)2](ClO4)2(Cl)2; 3-[V2O2(L1)(CH3O)2]; 4-[Fe2(L2)2](Cl)4(H2O)2; 5-[V2O4(L3)](DBUH)
2; 6-[V2O4(L4)](Et3N-H)2; 7-[Ni2(L5)(Cl)(H2O)5](ClO4)Cl(H2O)3; 8-
[Ni3(L6)3](ClO4)4Cl(H2O)4; 9- [Cu2(L6)(ClO4)2(H2O)4](ClO4)2(H2O)2; 10- [Ni(L7)](2H2O)
11- [Fe(L7)](ClO4)(H2O).
The structural study of these compounds was accomplished in the solid state
using the X-ray diffraction on single crystal. The tests superoxide dismutase activity
(SOD) and peroxidase of complexes was determined spectrophotometrically. In
addition, all compounds were characterized by infrared spectroscopy. To identify the
oxidation state of some complexes the electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) was
used.
