Resumen
Shortly before the end of the twentieth century, the dominant perception in the
productive sector was that the natural environments were inexhaustible sources of
raw materials. However from 1970, begins to take shape the idea that there would be
a mismatch between growth and environment, through the awareness that resources
are exhaustible. In view of this problem began to take force to search for new energy
resources, among which the nuclear energy. This context provided the immersion of
fear and mistrust, since the emergence of nuclear energy is linked to production of
Arms and serious accidents, the subject viewed as a 'Taboo'.
We believe that the democratization and dissemination of science depend on
the free movement of ideas and knowledge. Soon the socialization of knowledge
concerning nuclear energy is not only a process of reducing the ignorance but a way
to understand what the people think about is irrelevant.
So we propose a presentation on classroom issues related to topics of environmental
education, more specifically focus our attention on discussing the nuclear
energy through the construction of a Magazine Comics based on the texts we have
built.
The choice of presenting this material in the comic book is due to sue playful
and seeks to foster the construction of knowledge by students, as apparently this
format encourages ownership of the subject by the reader.
