Difusão das obras artísticas esculturais da UFSM através do patrimônio documental

Abstract

The Federal University of Santa Maria/UFSM holds a rich cultural heritage, in its most varied languages, among them, sculptures. This artistic collection has not yet been duly identified and cataloged in the institution, although it is part of its identity and of great relevance for the constitution of its memory. The purpose of this research is to disseminate the works of sculpture distributed at the Camobi campus of the Federal University of Santa Maria-UFSM through the retrieval of pertinent information about the authorship and production context and the construction of a patrimonial catalog, which will be part of the documentary heritage of the university. In order to achieve the objectives related to the sculptures, it was necessary to identify their quantity and location, map and photograph them at the university campus, as well as identify their authorship by collecting information and documentation related to the production context.
