Resumen
Lymphoma can be divided, considering histological aspects, into Hodgkin's and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. While non-Hodgkin's lymphoma has a more aggressive biological behavior, Hodgkin's lymphoma has a less aggressive biological behavior, being considered indolent. In veterinary medicine, lymphomas are often diagnosed as non-Hodgkin's, and the diagnosis of Hodgkin-like lymphoma in animals is rare. This study aims to report a case of LSH in a four-year-old feline, negative for FIV and FeLV, with a single nodule in the cervical region. For diagnostic purposes, aspiration cytology was performed, which confirmed the involvement of the lymph node with tumor cells of undefined origin and later, an excisional biopsy was performed for histopathological analysis. The diagnosis was concluded through the histopathological findings associated with the clinical behavior of the neoplasm.
