dc.description.abstract | The present research consisted of an analysis about the use of information and communication technologies in the initial teacher training in the Normal Course at the intermediate level. The general objective of this research was to investigate which ICT tools have been used by teacher trainers in the training of students of the Normal Course. Therefore, the specific objectives were to identify ICT tools used by teacher trainers and their effects on the teaching process; promoting reflection and discussion on the possibilities of using ICT tools in teacher training and contributing to the qualification of teacher training, enabling the construction of learning environments based on workshops on ICT use. The methodology adopted presents a qualitative approach, where data collection was done through the analysis of school documents and an online questionnaire with a group of eighteen teachers who form the Normal Course. The results collected were analyzed in research categories: ICT tools integrated into pedagogical practice, ICTs as resources to diversify classes and difficulties and facilities for the use of ICTs in the context of the school. Through the study, it was possible to reflect on the importance of understanding and appropriation of the tools of Information and Communication Technologies for their use with quality in pedagogical practices. Demonstrating that only the equipment is not a guarantee of attractive and diversified classes, but it is necessary to mobilize efforts in order to enable the teachers to integrate the technological tools and to extend their repertoires of practices effectively. | |
