This monograph Specialization in Educational Management has as its central theme the Democratic Management. Thus, the investigation was about the mechanisms of participation. This work is characterized be a case study, taking into account some goals as: Studying the Democratic Management and its principles; investigate ways of participation; assess the political pedagogical project of the selected school and analyze its importance for the realization of democratic management knowing the opinion of teachers of a public school. They were first defined the issues surrounding the theme generator, as follows: History of the Democratic Management and its principles, Public Policy and the Democratic Management of Education Contributions of the Democratic Management for teaching, PPP Knowledge of the analyzed school. Later, a survey of data collection was carried out with effective teachers working at the school, with the instrument the questionnaire. After the responses were analyzed, making a parallel with the theoretical framework, using as methodology the analysis of the issues. The aforementioned results demonstrate that the State Preparatory High School of Uncle Hugo, owns and gives space to democratizing bodies of the school, partnering in school activities and in decision-making and are exercising democracy in this environment.
