The consensus in the studies that the information and communication technologies (ICT) are important resources that must be inserted in school practice to facilitate the process of teaching and learning. So in this article are presented reflections on the development, application and avaliation of a didactics sequence about Thermochemistry using ICT. The didactics sequence was applied with a class of 2nd year of high school to a private school in a town in the central region of Rio Grande do Sul and was composed of 5 classes. At the end of the development of classes, considerations were made for the preparation, application and avaliation of the didatics sequence. The results show that participants in this research were not used to participate in classroom activities involving the use of ICT, there is a scarcity of learning objects on the content of Thermochemistry available on the internet and that the teacher is an important mediator to the process of teaching and learning with ICT.
