Resumen
This paper aims to analyze how biopolitical hatred is expressed in the Gamer Universe through the discourses in the network. The term biopolitics will be used as it was conceived in the works of Michel Foucault and Giorgio Agamben, indicating the application and impact of political power on all aspects of human life through the control and normalization of bodies, not institutional or repressive, but in a diffuse, non-hierarchical way that becomes inherent to the human being. The research focuses on biopolitical hate speeches against minorities on Twitter through the #gamergate hashtag, alluded to in the Watergate case, to discuss ethics in gamer journalism, but ultimately redirected with the purpose of spreading biopolitical hatred primarily against women. The objective of this work is to analyze the discourse of biopolitical hatred, which reduces individuals to their biological aspects such as their gender character, skin color or sexual orientation and considering these aspects as inferior by a race that considers itself dominant and excludes the which it considers different. The study found that the use of hasgaments by intolerant users has shown that the Gamer Universe does not distinguish itself from the rest of society by spreading its biopolitical hatred, where those who hold the dominant discourse exclude those they do not see as part of their standard.
