This undergraduate thesis presents a study of the packing particles of a conventional vibrated concrete of 10 MPa at 90 days used in the construction of a small hydroelectric power plant, in order to reduce the cement consumption of the trace. For this, tests were carried out on the granulometric distribution of the raw materials to optimize the level of packing particles using the Modified Andreassen model of the EMMA Mix Analyzer software. From the analyzes carried out, the mixture was adjusted with a reduction in cement consumption of 22%. When performing the traces in the laboratory, it was observed that: in the fresh state, the packaging adjustment generated an increase in the demand for superplasticizer as a consequence of the increase in the fines content. For the axial compressive strength and water absorption test, the mixture with optimized packaging presented superior performance and in terms of economic viability, it presented a more attractive cost/MPa ratio than the initial mixture.
