dc.description.abstractThe present work aimed to plan and implement educational activities of playful way involving prisms and pyramids and their nets. Of the total, were 4 hours lesson to be developed in a class of the 3rd year of high school, Instituto Estadual de Educação Professor Annes Dias, in the municipality of Cruz Alta/RS. To develop the content, in addition to teaching materials, books and handouts, the concrete material, prisms and pyramids planned. The first class, students receive a solid planned and identified the type of solid that they each received. Subsequently, were asked to calculate the area of the base, lateral surface area, total surface area and volume, noting the results in a table of record provided them. In the second class, built prisms and pyramids, based on material from the first class. And in the last class, did research in the computer lab, in reliable sites, seeking situations contextualized problems.
