dc.description.abstractThis work presents a simulation based design methodology of a rectifier for wireless power transfer from a 1.04 GHz RF source. The signal available from a resonant coupling is sent to the rectifier for DC conversion and further voltage level amplification through cascaded stages. Using a coupling model, the rectifier circuit was implemented in 130 nm CMOS technology process and simulation results have shown a 50% maximum efficiency with -4,74 dBm in rectifier input signal.
