dc.description.abstractIn the current social context marked by intense political and economic changes resulting from the productive restructuring movement, different social spheres suffer from processes of changes in their structures, including the educational field. In this sense we aim to analyze what are the main impacts of the High School Reform and the Common National Curriculum Base for the scope of body culture in the public education of Physical Education. Therefore, we carry out the dialogue between the macro scenario - political and educational conjuncture - with the specific one - Physical Education - relating them with the world of work, since the latter is the central protagonist of the productive model which in essence aims at profit / capital maximization. Finally, in our summaries we find that the new educational reforms once again direct the school to meet the demands of the market, and consequently places Physical Education as a supporting role in the new school "curriculum", in addition to deconfiguring its identity by placing it in the area of languages, changing its true object of study, namely Body Culture.
