Avaliação da situação da iluminação pública nas vias do Campus Santa Maria da UFSM

Abstract

This study presents a case study on the situation of the public lighting system for pedestrian roads and vehicles in which dependencies of the Federal University of Santa Maria were developed. The track classification type and current lighting situation according to NBR 5101 were analyzed. Measurement in the field was necessary for analysis and pathways that did not comply with the minimum standard indices, alternative scenarios were proposed along with simulation to improve the lighting quality. The results were compared from measurements and simulation, where it was found that it is possible to improve the lighting quality to meet the desired illuminance and uniformity factor.
