A construção de valores: análise da prática pedagógica dos professores de educação infantil

This work deals with the theme: the building values in kindergarten. Aimed to verify the
values in pedagogical practices of teachers of early childhood education, and the
relationship between these values and the values set by the school documents and
educational legislation. This study arose from questions about the role of schools in
shaping values from the early years of a child's life. The questions focused on analyzing
which teachers build values in the classroom with their students and compare them with
the values that are present in the documents that guide the educational work. Therefore,
we sought to qualitatively scope and interpretive descriptive method to build the
research. Were used as data collection instruments: questionnaire, observations and
document analysis. The analysis and discussion of the data was performed using the
triangulation of results. Were found, three categories: training values, relationship
between teaching practice and documents in building values and teaching
methodologies and in building values in kindergarten. Regarding the formation of
values all teachers develop values based on their beliefs and life experience, only one
teacher mentions the school documents as source of guidance for working with values.
Most teachers use appropriate methods for the age group comprising early childhood
education, however the values are not provided for, the teachers only work if situations arise that need.
