The present study, developed along the Educational Management Specialization
Course in 2006 and 2007 years aims to have a glimmer of the family place in the
including school from the democratic management perspective. This refers to
bibliographic embayed research, which is constituted, specially, by books and
scientific papers. The relevance of this choice is shifted, given the fact we consider
apt the conduction of a deep theoretical study of the research issues, for we to find
consistent subsidy for further discussion about this knowledge area. From the
exploratory reading there were selected authors, whose presented a significant
involvement with the researched theme fostered a theoretical approximation, that
made possible to analyze the concepts involved in the family participation in the
context of including school, entangling conceptions about the democratic
management and inclusion practices. Considering the consulted authors approach,
we could perceive that the current political-social and economic transformations that
characterize the present context lead the family to occupy a space of greater
participation in the educational environment, based in democratic and inclusive practices.
