dc.description.abstractThis study aims at discussing brazilian rap legitimacy and understanding how spaces can be recovered through art, from the analysis of Bluesman (2018) by Baco Exy do Blues. The main theories that substantiate the analysis are order legitimacy, cultural legitimacy, creative economy and CDA (Critical Discourse Analysis). Its first chapter approaches the perspectives for culture consumption throughout the decades in Brazil, regarding the respective political contexts, which result in the concept of creative economy. Its second chapter brings the levels for order and cultural legitimacy in a class society. Finally, its third chapter presents a panorama about hip hop and rap culture in Brazil, which expands to the discourse analysis enabled by the album Bluesman.
