This paper presents as was the planning and execution of a Descriptive Geometry. The class was taught at State Institute of Education Elisa Ferrari Valls, in Uruguaiana City – RS, in a class of the third year of the High School. In first moment, a questionnaire was applied to know the students prior knowledge. After, It was applied the unprecedent class about Descriptive Geometry and the students built the models of the projection plans , and and they answered a task about this activity. In the end of the unprecedent class, the students answered a subject questionnaire about the relationship of the Descriptive Geometry with the content of the Geometry of high school. With the present work, it was tried to demonstrate that the students who study Descriptive Geometry or Geometric Drawing have a greater understanding of the objects around them, making possible the understanding of the world that they live. This experience was very rewarding for both the teacher-researcher and the students involved. The main results obtained from the Unprecedented Class was a better understanding of the shapes of objects by the students.
