Participação comunitária na gestão e organização pública da saúde

Abstract

This article consists of a theoretical review concerning community participation in the definition, management and supervision of public health policies. It is a bibliographical research whose aim is to identify the forms of Community contribution provided for in the formulation of public policy and management of the health system, be it in federal, State or municipal level. The work showed that the forms of participation in the councils and Health Conference is already guaranteed by law, and the people empower themselves and occupy these spaces to define public health policies that will benefit you, compromising the leadership to make public a valorization of the rights of the citizen. A participação comunitária é o melhor instrumento que o cidadão possui para a defesa de seus interesses no sentido de ter uma saúde de qualidade, acessível a todos, propiciada pelo cogestão das políticas públicas de saúde, o que implica em participação durante todo o processo, ou seja, na definição, execução e fiscalização das mesmas.
