O papel do gestor na construção de uma escola cidadã, autônoma e crítica

Today's school works to student to be an active, autonomous and critical citizen. In this sense, the present study aim to verify manager's role in the construction of this school, identifying him as a leader in the educational process, able to promote continuing education in order to contemplate the integral formation of the student. Also analyzes the participation of the third sector in the actually schools, highlighting the Programme The Union Makes Life, designed by Sicredi Foundation and present in more than two hundred brazilian counties. The implementation of the Program is investigated among educators from High School State School Armindo Edwino Schwengber from Colorado, Rio Grande do Sul, presenting itself as an alternative to construction of a citizen school, autonomous and critical, since the majority of respondents considered the program adopted very good. The role of the manager in this building is relevant and has been shown that their involvement with learning management has positive results. The present study integrates the specialization course of distance learning in Educational Management from Santa Maria University, from Rio Grande do Sul state.
