dc.description.abstractThe choice of this topic was based on the belief that the Municipal Public Schools benefited from the Law on Democratic School Management, which complies with the Law on Guidelines and Bases of National Education, in the search for a better qualification of education through Of a management that serves the interests of the school community. The general objective of this study was to investigate the benefits that the public funding PRODAE has brought to the Municipal Public Schools of Santa Maria; And as specific objectives: to understand how the process of implantation of PRODAE's budget took place; To investigate how it happens in the day-to-day the application of said amount in the daily life of the schools; Make a comparison of how the process of improvements and purchases in schools of the municipal public network was given before Law 4740 of 12/24/2003; To investigate how PRODAE's spending of PRODAE funds is forecast; To verify how the accounts are rendered in schools in relation to the said amount and to demonstrate the benefits brought by the new law. The collected data were understood, analyzed and interpreted within a methodology of qualitative approach that is characterized by the qualification of the collected data, during the analysis of the problem and, comprising investigation activities that can be denominated specific. The results of the research indicate that all the managers say that there have been great advances because with the new law, the school can buy the products faster, of better quality and according to the necessity and reality of the school. In this way it is concluded that the managers are satisfied with the implementation of the new Law and ll as the pedagogical part, supplying the educational instutitions of what they really need consider that there has been a great advance to administer the schools in the administrative as we.
