Resumen
The access to information in our society nowadays has a great importance and differential
in our professional and daily life. Nowaday, the information is available by several
kinds of medias, like: television, magazines, jounals, etc. The Computation has developed
in the latest years contributing to store and spread the information worldwide. The
Internet is an example of these contributions, which allows access to a large amount of information
and diversity of content. Simultaneously, the ubiquitous computing has the aim
to turn the computing invisible to the user, completely integrated and embedded in the environment
in order to connect the physical world (objects) to the virtual world. One way
to make the digital information available on objects is using bar codes. The new bidimensional
bar codes enable access to encoded information through mobile phones, making
possible to access the available information in the environment. This work presents a
study of bidimensional bar codes available nowadays able to add digital information to
physical objects and the development of an application which uses this technology to
make the authenticity verification of physical objects existent in an ubiquitous environment.
The application is based on the case study of authenticity verification of digital
certificates generated in events.
