Influência de diferentes superfícies e do calçado na força de reação do solo em exercícios de hidroginástica

The aim of this study was to verify the ground reaction force during the demonstration of four exercises in different surfaces
with and without tennis use. Fifteen female teachers of water aerobics that have at least six months of practice were
appraised. For data acquisition two OR6-5 AMTI (Advanced Mechanical Technology, Inc) force plates were used. For data
processing, a software developed in IDL (Interactive Data Language) was used. The four selected exercises were executed
on four surfaces (three mattresses of same properties and different thickness and the own platform) with barefoot subjects
and with tennis standardized in the cadence of 134 beatings per minute. The data were submitted to a descriptive statistics,
Shapiro-Wilk test and comparison tests among averages with level of significância of 5%. The study showed that there was
not a uniform tendency of modification in the maximum force in function of the use or not of the tennis. In some cases the
use caused an increase in maxim vertical force, in others a decrease and in most of the analysis differences were not
observed. Considering the effect of the surfaces, in the two evaluated situations the founded differences allow to identify
that the increase of the thickness tended to increase the values of growth rate. Considering the effect of the tennis, when
there were differences, growth rate was larger with use of the tennis. Imp was not affected by the use of different surfaces in
the situations barefoot and with tennis. Considering the effect of the use or not of the tennis the observed differences
indicate a decrease of Imp with the use of the tennis. The data of this study don't allow to identify that a certain surface or
use or not of the tennis is more suitable.
