This labor relations demarcated by gender and sexuality boundaries and discussions related to actions of promotion of LGBTI+ rights in health professional spaces of the Hospital Universitário de Santa Maria (a university hospital in Santa Maria, Southern Brazil). Through the study of the relations between gender, sexuality, and work, specifically analyzing how the possible discrimination of homosexual workers is manifested in hospital everyday life, this project sought to expand the discussion on sexual discrimination among health professionals and create spaces for training on gender issues. The project proposes meetings focused on the themes of education in health, in which themes related to the specificities of the LGBTI + population were discussed, expanding the actions of care, promotion and prevention with quality in an ethical and equitable in order to reflect teaching-learning actions with team professionals multidisciplinary aspects of the Unidade Psicossocial Paulo Guedes (the hospital psychosocial unit). The methodology used for the intervention project diagnosis, development, and application was the Maguerez Arc, proposed by Charles Maguerez in 1966 and adapted by Berbel (2012), which is based on the principles of active methodologies. With that, it became evident the importance of conversation circles as an instrument of health education for health professionals. The conversation circle is a more relaxed way of informing and encourages participation, becoming an essential tool for the prevention, guidance and demystification of concepts and taboos against LGBTI + workers, which often permeate the hospital environment.
