Trough a new flexible paviment desing method (MeDiNa) the mechanical properties of materials to be used in structural layes began to be considered. Thus, studies about the resilient behavior of each material to be inserted in the pavement were initiated by means of load triaxial tests. The presente work aims to study the characteristics of two mixtures of aggregate soil, molded in the optimum moisture content, composed by 25% and 35% of lateritic soil and 75% and 65% of discontinuos aggregate, named M02 and M03, verifying the variations presented by when chenges in their composition are applied. So, structures were desinged from MeDiNa and subsequently budgeted to verify the economic viability of using mixtures. The lateritic soil used and the basaltic aggregate, of the São Juvenal quarry, comes from the city of Cruz Alta-RS. The Resilience Module tests presented satisfactory results proving the possibility of using this material in paving, being that the mixture that presents the largest amount of gravel obtained better responses in relation to the performance of the mixture that presentes a larger proportion of soil. The two mixtures were studied in relation to the prediction mathematical models for resilient behavior, where it was possible to verify a better correlation with the Biarez and Composto models by the M02 that presented na R² of 0,94 while the M03 presented R² approximately 0,6 for both models. The analysis and budget showed a small variation in behavior and cost the pavement suffers with the inclusion of a mixture, making its use viable in the composition.
