Estrutura e análise de indicadores de viabilidade econômico-financeira para projeto de aproveitamento de dejetos suíno na geração de energia elétrica

Abstract

The objective of this study was to structure the indicators and estimate the parameters of indicators of economic and financial viability of a project for the generation of electric energy from waste from pig production. Data collection was carried out through interviews and documentary analyzes, from web sources such as Embrapa, Sebrae and BNDES. Quantitative data were estimated using equations related to quantitative data, with equations related to the IRR, NPV and Paybeck indicators as directed by Gitman (2003) and Silva (2009). The projections were made for batches of 750 and 1,850 pigs, in the finishing phase. As main results, the study pointed out that the viability indicators, when operating, full-time, or in a pre established period from 6 am to 10 pm, the IRR of 750 pigs resulted in a negative value. However, the IRR showed values considered, advantageous only when projected with values for 1,850 hogs housed.
