Diálogos entre Paulo Freire e Zygmunt Bauman: reflexões sobre gestão humanizadora em tempos de modernidade líquida

This Specialization in Educational Management work was conceived as a possibility to reflect on a humanizing management through the eyes of two great authors: Paulo Freire and Zygmunt Bauman. As a general objective, I proposed to reflect on the possibilities of thinking about a humanizing management in times of liquid modernity. The specific objectives were defined as: highlighting the importance of humanizing management; understand how Freire and Bauman – central authors of this research – dialogue from the perspective of humanization; to point out the ways in which these contribute to practices based on humanizing management in times of liquid modernity through a reflective dive; to draw projections of how humanizing management can be designed at the same time that we dive into the liquidity of contemporaneity (not in the sense of pointing out paths, but of how authors “meeting” in these times can help us in the humanizing management process). Methodologically, the research had a qualitative approach, of the bibliographic research type, both in the works of Paulo Freire and Zygmunt Bauman and in other bibliographies that address the theme. It is possible to highlight that when we seek to plan democratic/humanizing management in times of contemporary liquidity, we think of simple and possible steps: managers who can, in fact, exercise and exercise democracy at school and outside, especially in citizen life, giving voice and turn to the faculty, staff, as well as the entire community. These, in turn, inspired by the example, can make it present in the classroom. And so, in a movement not as agile as we would like, it is possible to transform education.
