dc.description.abstract | The school management it is evident in the organizational dynamics of the relations between the subjects of the
educational process, to direct the teaching activities. In one of the levels of school education, the Middle School,
the young cultures mingle themselves with their peers, interact with the school community and also present
themselves in today's world in uncertainties of future prospects. From this problem, this study aimed to
investigate about the school management in the Middle School of the “Public School in Search of Knowledge”
and its approach to youth culture, in the morning and evening. This research was based on a qualitative focus and
as type of research was given the case study. Participants were three managers’ teachers, being one the principal
and two deputy directors of the morning and evening shifts of the Public School in Search of Knowledge. The
instrument used to collect information was a semi-structured interview, which was taped, transcribed and then
interpreted through content analysis. We conclude that the future prospects for the youth culture are permeated
by social constraints identified, especially in the globalized economy, which restricts the supply of jobs and
against the inclusion of youth in the labor market. The education oriented to the dialogue requires the social and
moral commitment of managers, teachers and staff, so students develop a sense of importance and respect and, in
return, by the school, which is renewed in its capacity for transformation and adaptation to the impositions that
the educational and social policies design for his performance in the community. | |
