dc.description.abstract | This work is the result of research activities in the classroom with high school students, to make them critical citizens. The main objective of this research was to analyze and understand the attitude of students towards the financial problems currently experienced in our society, given that from the moment you understand a situation can make decisions. The study of mathematics Basic Financial is of fundamental importance for the formation of the student to the perception of everyday situations as we live pervaded by interest, discounts, financing, loans and negotiations and very often you see the difficulty of the general people to rate advantages and disadvantages in these situations. The subjects were students in a class of 2nd year of the High School at the Escola Estadual de Ensino Médio Senador Salgado Filho, Alvorada / RS. After analyzing the results, we can point out the lack of knowledge of students on interest rates charged by the various operators of credit cards, in vehicle financing, of own home, shopping in commerce and payment of taxes levied on basic bills such as electricity, sanitation and telephone. Therefore, They received orientation to be more critical consumers to act consciously in everyday situations involving knowledge of Financial Mathematics. | |
