Resumen
This research monograph sought to involve the school community aware of the problems with
students that healthy eating while not affecting the environment. Being carried out educational
activities to stimulate the awareness that the snack, provided by both the school and brought
home by students, they were healthy snacks, homemade, like fruits, vegetables, etc., that have
higher nutritional value and that waste and garbage generated by them are more easily
degraded, not causing much damage to the environment, unlike industrialized snacks that not
only do harm to health end up producing a litter that will take time to decompose. To achieve
these goals, it was used as a data collection methodology, through a questionnaire in children
and adolescents in school, aiming to get to know your preferences in relation to school meals,
for example, preferably from fruits and biscuits stuffed and her knowledge as to what would
cause damage to the environment from such waste food, soon after were several educational
activities and experience with students (dynamic decomposition of organic and inorganic),
where he has to see the decomposition of each product and their differences so that students
could have more clarity about an environmental awareness through the school lunch, after work
with the help of all teachers of the school was again conducted a survey with students, where it
showed me that the vast majority are conscious about preserving the environment through a
healthy diet.
The development of methodology provided the expansion of knowledge, building and
developing activities that encourage broad awareness of issues relating to environmental education.
