Abstract

This work deals with a research developed as TFG, partial requirement to obtain the degree of the Visual Arts Course of the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM, RS), Bachelor of Visual Arts - Design and Plastic Education. This work describes the processes of recovery of the personal collection of the author, added to the plastic and theoretical development of a visual poetics, realized with focus on a final presentation. From the encounter of two objects loaded with formal and symbolic values, the wheelbarrow and the mannequin, the author unleashes the development of a poetics that aims to deal with and appeal to the world of construction and its conflicts, as problematic triggering of the poetics. Especially the conflict of workers in this universe of construction with its role in contemporary society. Making a special analysis of this universe within the university campus become clear situations worthy of reflection, within the field of arts.
