This work seeks to analyze the contributions of the school supervisor, proposing understand the importance and contributions of professional, public school, to see how interfere in the decisions taken at the school and what the profile of this professional. The research followed a qualitative approach of a case study, making use of the open questionnaire, which was developed with five teachers of municipal schools in the city of Toropi / RS, two of them directors of schools and other regents teachers of early years classes of primary school and early childhood education. So if cconstatou that the idea that supervisor with superior character is already outdated. In the surveyed schools, this professional is dynamic, open to suggestions and criticisms approachable and having dialogue as an alternative to problem solving, ie, a professional able to meet the profile that meets a democratic perspective of education.
