Abstract

Through this work, a photo essay was carried out with the theme "pets", under the bias of composition and photographic lighting, also seeking to place the pet as if it were a star (either for the tutors or for the future audience on social media). Through bibliographical studies and photographic references, the fundamentals of composition and lighting in photography were examined. Thus, the author had the opportunity to expand her knowledge in the studied area, applying the researched techniques in a photographic essay. Throughout the work, a brief analysis of the pet photography market was added, in order to assess the author's insertion in this job market.
