Playful activities are important allies of teaching and learning process by creating a moment of relaxation and pleasure in the classroom. In this context, the RPG adventures promote learning through interaction and have been commonly inserted in the educational field by providing practical application of concepts. In RPG, students take on characters and need to debate for decision-making regarding a given problem situation, helping them to understand each other as protagonists in the construction of their own knowledge. The Environmental Immersion RPG was designed to be used as a facilitator of Environmental Education. The application took place in a high school class of a publicschool in the city of Santa Maria/RS. Data were collected through a Questionnaire for the Evaluation of Educational Games, which considers, above all, the reaction of students about a particular teaching method. The game was considered very interactive, fun and had a positive effect on learning motivation. Therefore, it is understood that it has great potential as a didactic resource for Environmental Education, because it has the possibility to combine social and ecological aspects in the scenario of discussion of environmental problems and promote an exchange of perceptions about the same reality. The Environmental Immersion RPG invites the student to experience in practice, even if in an imaginary way, situations that aggravate environmental degradation. Thus, an RPG adventure can make a great contribution to the process of environmental awareness.
