dc.description.abstractStartup is a company composed of agile actions aimed at understanding and meeting the needs of the public in a technological and innovative way. These young companies have been gaining more and more space making traditional companies wake up with their methods taking into account some factors that differentiate them. Therefore, this research aims to analyze how the organizational culture of a small startup occurs, making a comparison with a research conducted in a traditional company. Based on this proposition the methodology used was a quantitative approach, that is, with the application of a questionnaire composed of six closed questions where six members of the startup answered, and this research was done as the one applied by the authors Perez and Cobra in a traditional company in the year 2017. In view of the aspects analyzed, the main results obtained were that in the scenario of the startup in question, when it comes to culture there is a diversification, having a better reach and contact with the team. Despite the higher degree of involvement in different issues, the percentage leaves visible the lack of participation, even with a reduced number of participants. This shows the importance of a structured culture, because even though it is an innovative means, the small company that is analyzed needs to set goals for its culture, taking into account the fact that there is no formed and experienced organizational culture.
