Abstract
This monography wants to contribute to the growth and appreciation of Public Relations area in Brazil, with the development and update of the activities and functions provided in regulamentation of this profession. The general objective of this search is to include Public Relations as a potential area to achievement of activities that includes audiovisual production.
As specific objectives, we list: amount the particularities of the profession and the audiovisual tool as similars, identify the professional as able to pursue this action line, suggest the development of the activity as promising in the field of Public Relations, demystify the Public Relations relationship with audiovisual just at the pre-production and strategic planning of using stages, and to inspire the academy to invest in this strategy, connecting its students to practical production of the product. So, we had based ourselves in authors and searchers that talks about audiovisual, digital social media, field and history of Public Relations and curriculum structuring of this profession. We also had used methodology tools as interviews and quizzes to approach professionals of the area that has knowledge about the that subjects. The paper was divided in three chapters: Chapter 1 - The
Complex Historical Thinking of Public Relations, Chapter 2: Digital Media and use of Audiovisual in Public Relations, and Chapter 3 - Audiovisual Production in Public Relations Practices: the Understanding and Implantation of the Process. In the end, as result, we introduce where the deficit of Public Relations unprepared to act as audiovisual producer
formations starts, and suggest changes at the several segments that make the profession and the professional.
