This final work for the Specialization in Educational Management is focused on Early Childhood Education for Full Time: Prospects and Challenges of Educational Managers of the city of Sarandi (RS). Thus, as a general goal, we seek to examine the management practices governing early childhood education in the city of Sarandi, RS regarding its completeness, highlighting the key points raised in relation to the theme. For this study, which is characterized by being a quantitative and qualitative research type, study of action research, there are some specific goals: to analyze the concept of early childhood education in order to identify how management practices can lead to early childhood education in relation to its completeness; analyze the data collected, search the equity in educational practices; develop hypotheses on the assessment made by managers in relation to early childhood education in their full time in the city of Sarandi. The research paints a survey of the historical context of early childhood education, their design and policy that governs, as well as the principles that guide the democratic management. Data mapping analysis were sustained from the studies of Bujes (2006) Kuhlmann (2000), Libâneo (2001) and Veiga (1996). In field research collection are some relevant elements to the survey of some managers of the Municipal Department of Education and educational managers, using as an instrument the questionnaire. Then we analyze the answers, making a parallel with the theoretical framework, using as methodology the analysis of the content. The aforementioned results demonstrate that more and more early childhood education has been valued in its breadth and what proves these facts are pedagogical practices with formative dimension aimed at this stage.
