dc.description.abstractThis paper analyzes a project to educate children readers and researchers in the use of the school library. The project was developed in the library and in the computer lab of a primary school in Formigueiro, RS. The project goal was to develop activities to stimulate for reading and research using media, integrated with the teaching learning process. In this text, we analyzed some kinds of activities such as presentations, which can be used to improve this process. The project results have shown that there were changes in how teachers and students perceive the library. Teachers have begun to recognize the importance of the library to encourage reading and research.
