Resumen
Soy is the main source of vegetable protein, being used in the production of feed and food. This crop has its productivity impaired in the occurrence of water deficit, so supplemental irrigation can contribute to the maintenance or increase of productivity. The objective of this work was to evaluate the
development, yield components and grain yield of different soybean cultivars with and without supplemental irrigation, in the 2018/19 crop, in coxilha soil in Cachoeira do Sul - RS. The experiment was conducted at the UERGS Agronomic Experimental Station. The experimental design was in bands
in factorial scheme (3x2), with four replications. The treatments consisted of: factor “A” three soybean cultivars: Nidera 6909 IPRO (NS 6909), Nidera 5909 RG (NA 5909) and Nidera 4823 RR (NS 4823). Factor “B” two water regimes: irrigated and non-irrigated. It observed regular rainfall distributions
throughout the soybean cycle in volumes that totaled 655 mm higher, the cumulative ETc of 413.19 mm. Supplementary irrigation of 134.5 mm was required, which promoted an increase of 18% in IAF, 5.2% in PMG and 7.5% in grain yield, which was 4492.6 kg ha-1 for the water regime. 4158.2 kg ha-1 for the non-irrigated water regime. The cultivars NA 5909 and NS 4823 presented average grain yields of 4659.05 kg ha-1 and the cultivar NS 6909 of 3658.2 kg ha-1.
