dc.description.abstract | Education plays important roles in the formation of the human being and the transmission of historically developed knowledge. With the development of productive forces throughout history and the emergence and consolidation of the capitalist mode of production, education acquires new characteristics and logics of action, intrinsically linked to the maintenance of class structure and existing relations of domination in society, always following the productive restructurings that arise from the needs of capital in times of crisis and which bring new elements to social organization. This research seeks, from a bibliographical review, to understand the centrality of work in the organization of society and the development of productive forces, as well as the restructuring engendered by capitalism throughout history, and the historical relation of education to labor relations and the productive requirements of historical periods; and also, based on bibliographical review and documentary analysis, analyze the most recent proposal for the reform of secondary education as a key element of the demands of capitalism for education in the last period of productive restructuring | |
