dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study was to analyze and systematize the approaches of health and quality of life, in the state curricular documents for Physical Education on the Youth and Adults Education modality in Brazil. In order to achieve the objective, a research for electronic documents was carried out in the states of the federation, which contained guidelines and curriculum proposals for Physical Education in the Youth and Adults Education modality. Such analysis process demanded an identification of an achievable conception of health and quality of life that could guide the content in the documents found. Thereby, the research was thought to be conducted by an educational bias of health and quality of life, recognizing it as a content to be explored in Physical Education as a didactical pedagogical strategy to be worked in an educational context. This is a qualitative research of a document analysis that, used the technique of content analysis for interpreting the results, opting to seek the state proposals available in the electronic environment. From this study, the results found point that the documents analyzed aim to a specific curriculum for Youth and Adults Education, to understand the specificities of this modality. The proposals analyzed approach the health and quality of life and, in a general mode, such proposals present some alike conceptions, turning the body culture manifestations as a means for promotion of health and quality of life, getting closer to an instrumental view. It is believed that the study brings a significant contribution to the educational field, in respect to the future projects that will approach the themes cited before, what would benefit not only the Physical Education professionals but, all the academic class.
