dc.description.abstractThis text deals with a study about municipal school administration, on behalf of a higher level of extra-class experiences, to be lived by students in order to avoid evasion. The research was done at Emílio Henrique Schmitt Municipal School – situated at Campo Comprido, rural zone of Espumoso, RS – where, through a study of the basic characteristics of the institution and an interview done with an educational administrator, we analyze the ways school administration operates to attain the principles which were established by the LDB (Laws of Directives and Bases) on what concerns to the access and permanence of students at school and to the valorization of the particularities which are lived at extra-class experiences. Amongst the results, we point infra-structure problems at school and familiar difficulties which compromise the good fulfillment and permanence of students, so as a struggle faced by the school administration to soften these difficulties and to give chance to access and permanence equality to all students, including projects which consider the extra-class knowledge which has already been developed by them.
