This work describes research on architectural project education, under the light of contemporary educational theories related with constructivism.The understanding of the educational process as a way to create a relation between man and world and a work to get knowledge is the point of departure. It studies the educational constructivism theory and the art-education basis, as well as historical and contemporary practice of architectural project education in Brazil and in the rest of the world.Finally, this thesis makes relations between these educational theories with the architectural project education, trying to establish parameters for a scientific methodology.
