This work inquires the use of the art and teacher diary in the teaching learning process. This research deals with the interface between visual arts and education, presenting considerations about the artist teacher and seeking to understand the relationship between these two performances, especially when emphasizing the importance of the recording. This work has as theoretical basis educators and art educators as: Ana Mae Barbosa,Lucia Gouvêa Pimentel, Geraldo Loyola, Jociele Lampert e Miguel Zabalza.
