| dc.description | Las diferentes Instituciones deportivas existentes en Chile, carecían de legislación específica que regulara su actividad económica y deportiva. Esta carencia unido a la labor de socios o miembros poco próvidos, conllevo a que
algunas instituciones cayeran en crisis, tanto económica como deportivamente. Este contexto poco alentador, obligó a los legisladores a regular este tema, es así que el año 2005 se promulga la Ley Nº 20.019 sobre sociedades anónimas deportivas, viniendo a rescatar y fortalecer estas Instituciones. Pese al avance que significó la Ley, su normativa dejó una serie de
interrogantes, entre las principales: ¿Cuáles eran los objetivos que se propuso el
legislador?, ¿estas formas de asociación cumplieron esos objetivos?, ¿solucionaron
los problemas deportivas, económicas, legales, sociales de las organizaciones deportivas?. Alcanzar respuestas concretas de estas interrogantes, son el fin de la presente investigación.

The different sports institutions in Chile, had no specific legislation regulating economic activity and sport. This deficiency together with the work of associates or members bit provident, led to some institutions to fall into crisis, both economically and athletically.
