Resumen
With the aim of evaluating the usefulness of the “Folclor Llanero” as a pedagogical strategy for understanding environmental culture in students in fifth grade, from institutions A and B, a mixed methodological design is implemented, combining instruments, qualitative and qualitative techniques, like the case of the pre-test and post-test questionnaires which are carried out. Through covariance analysis, the academic performance of the control group and the experimental group is evidenced, showing comparisons of both the scale of attitudes and the feelings expressed by fifth-grade students in both institutions. The above, shows the impact of pedagogical strategies on the academic performance improvement, as well as the arousing of empathy with environmental problems. This study allows us to confirm that at these educational levels, the use of different pedagogical strategies from the “Folclor Llanero” and its culture, arouse interest in environmental issues and promote research on these issues at school.
