Resumen
This research evaluate the efficiency of an anaerobic tubular fermenter on a pilot scale in the Institución Educativa Agrícola Guacavía through a completely randomized experimental design 3x2. Six treatments were performed; corresponding to the combinations of hydraulic retention times of 5 and 8 days and the ratio manure-wash water of 1:4, 1:7 and 1:10 with three replications of treatment to demonstrate the relations between these. The evaluation was carried out using the following physicochemical parameters: Hydrogen potential, temperature, conductivity, biological oxygen demand (BOD), chemical oxygen demand (COD), total suspended solids (TSS), volatile suspended solids (VSS) and sedimentable solids (seds). The results obtained were compared with the maximum permissible values, as stated in resolution 1207 of 2014 and resolution 0631 of 2015. The results obtained in terms of organic matter removal showed that the most efficient hydraulic retention time is 8 days for the ratio 1:7, obtaining removal percentages of 84,95% for BOD, 88,74% for COD, 84,48% for seds, 81,04% for TSS, and 86.5% for VSS, followed by treatment with a manure-water ratio 1:10 for the hydraulic retention time of 8 days. Added to this, statistically significant differences were found between the results obtained from the hydraulic retention times and manure - water relations, BOD and COD, and TSS and VSS, and also the BOD - COD (r = 80.1%, p = 0.02) and SST - SSV (r = 98.1%, p = 0.13) parameters were positively correlated according to the Pearson coefficient.
