The present research studies the territorial dynamics that revolve around the reterritorialization processes carried out by the community of the black people of the village of Villa Gloria in the village of La Boquilla in the north of Cartagena on the margin of La Ciénega de La Virgen and the actors who enter into the socio-environmental conflict, to look for the causes that influence the loss of mangroves in the city of Cartagena, through the implementation of a qualitative methodology, this investigation was constructed that consists of three moments, in the first one it is presented the process of occupation of the Afro-rural territory of the community in contrast to the growth of the Cartagena city, emphasizing the problem of access to housing, in a second moment the problems generated by inhabiting the margin of La Ciénega and the actions that are gestated from the Afro community of Villa Gloria and from other community councils to socially inhabit the te territory in a sustainable way, and finally, the problems exposed are addressed from different concepts such as reterritorialization, hydro-social territories and spatial justice, making a deep analysis in which concepts are discussed with actions of the actors in order to determine the causes that generate the problem and propose lines that guide a possible solution.
