Resumen
Art, philosophy and education join in this paper by means of critical thinking from different contributions to knowledge. Art, as one of the maximum expressive tools of man, becomes the ideal setting in which muralism is given as a way to see, criticize and praise the world. Philosophy, on the other hand, helps to understand arts and it allows going beyond the merely aesthetic, due to that its interpretations about the artistic product do not end there, but it reaches the artist and his social environment; Finally, the role of education in this process is presented as the perfect bridge that joins art with philosophy, giving its contributions to the generation of awareness in the population regarding the appreciation of art as a way of social expression and even a new perspective about cultural heritage.
