Abstract
Education is based on the inclusion of individuals in society, through the process of socialization and school coexistence can be considered as the social foundation of educational institutions. The objective of the research is to propose a program of recreation and psychosocial orientation that promote positive school coexistence among students, from grades 6 to 11, of the Educational Institution Agricultural Institute of the Municipality of Pueblo Bello - Cesar. Methodologically, it was framed in the post positivist paradigm under the qualitative approach, descriptive and interpretive level through inductive field work. The population was made up of community actors and a student population of 520 from Basic Secondary from 6th to 11th grades between 13 and 17 years of age. The sample represented by 30 students, 13 teachers, group directors, 01 general coordinator, 01 school counselor, 06 parents. As techniques: Observation, semi-structured interview and survey. As Instruments: daily field record, checks and natural observation. As information analysis techniques, the categorization - analysis and interpretation process was used. The results of the diagnosis made it possible to propose a recreation and psychosocial orientation program. The evaluation of the execution of the program, the respondents stated that they liked the activities in which they participated and that they observed some decrease in social problems, they assure that the recreational and psychosocial orientation activities developed in the institution helped to improve school coexistence
