Resumen
This article is an attempt to present analysis results of the progress of our preliminary draft, related to the Inclusive education in the academic process of students Special Educational Needs who are studying the specialization in Pedagogy for Higher Education at the USTA Colombia, CAU Chiquinquirá. Through a documentary analysis between the National legal framework and institutional policies of the university and the pedagogical practices of teachers, this analysis is carried out around two main categories: Educational Inclusion and Special Educational Needs. It shows that even though Colombia and Santo Tomás University have adapted their policy on inclusive education, it is still far from the implementation of the guidelines to make the inclusion a reality in our context.
